Industry and the Global Economy-- Trade-Related Challenges

The globalization of markets presents special challenges and opportunities
for the achievement of sustainable transportation. Some aspects
of globalization are consistent with sustainability; others suggest
the opposite. This session will explore the possibly conflicting
interpretations and trends and evaluate the potential implications
of globalization for sustainable transportation.
