Commuter Challenge
 "Work Pad" . . . in-process
As new ECFD projects or activities are brought on line, they will initially be sketched out in rough "Work Pad". These consist in many cases at first of no more than a short statement of intent, perhaps filled out by a first few Web sites and other references. The idea in each case is to get the ball rolling and provide an accessible central place to post our thoughts and clues together in each of these areas, so that others can come in with their ideas and suggestions. Within a few weeks, they should be far enough along in their development to be provided to full kit status.
The Concept in Brief
The basic idea here in brief is to build on the experience and tool kit of the Commuter Challenge in Canada (and possibly a project working under the same name in the United States) to see if we can encourage other community groups in other parts of the world to respond to the challenge. We are in touch with them in the hope that they may be willing to take the lead in developing and sharing these challenge materials with others who are interested.
