Albert V. G. Hahn is Senior Partner of EcoPlan and Co-Director of the CRG. Following graduate studies in pro-grams in chemical engineering and in economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he worked as a process engineer, in corporate planning and in investment banking. Since becoming a full-time consultant in 1967, has completed around two hundred assignments in W. Europe, the U.S., the Arab countries, the Far East and Latin America. In addition to numerous technical articles, he is author of The Petrochemical Industry, McGraw Hill, and a winner of the AMEX Bank Review Prize Essays of 1988. Hahn is fluent in six languages and has served as policy advisor to numerous government and international organizations.
Francis E. K. Britton is Managing Director of EcoPlan. Educated with a broad background in the sciences and economics, has served as consultant and advisor to industry, financial institutions, specialized agencies of the United Nations, the OECD and public sector institutions across Europe, North America, the Far East and the developing countries. Ph.D. dissertation treated problems of international competitivity, technology choice, industrial location and redeployment, interests which have dominated much of his work over the past two decades. Since founding EcoPlan in 1966 has led major projects in the areas of energy, work organization, communications, transportation, the environment and international business strategies.
Since 1972 the CRG has carried out assignments for publicly held and private companies around the world. A partial listing of past clients and subscribers to multi-client studies fol-lows. (Note that as a result of consolidation of the sector over the last years, a number of these groups have changed ownership, names or their affiliations.)
Most of our work in fact involves personal contacts and our years of experience in the sector. But of course we have to use the Web among the tools of our trade. Here you will find several dozen that we find handy:
CRG Organization
Each EcoPlan assignment is planned, negotiated and executed under the direction of a Senior Partner with strong credentials and experience in the subject area. The partner who initially represents EcoPlan and negotiates the contract has full responsibility for all aspects of the assignment up to its successful completion. He is supported as required by staff researchers and external collaborators offering specific technical or geographic com-petence, and remains avail-able for follow-up work and further consultation as required to achieve the targeted objectives.
