e-Tools One keeps hearing complaints that the Web is not good for much when it comes to "real research" or "real work". Hmmm. Well. Maybe. But, warts and all, we use this stuff regularly and, we believe anyway, efficiently and well. At the end of the day though, if planning, policy and decision making with a ticking clock right next to you is your chore, there is no substitute for knowing not only the right sources but also the right people, and then being able somehow to reach them. And this is where the e-tools come in handy. Here is a collection of reference tools and tips that we have harvested for our own use over the years which perhaps you might find of use. Each of these pretty much explains itself. And each is also, as are all things on the Web, very much work in progress.
