Knowledge Building in an Information Society

[The content of this section to follow. In the meantime if you are curious you are invited to nose around here to see some of the signs of what we intend by this "Knowledge Building" phrase. Here are a couple of way-stations already in place which may begin to make our vision of this a bit clearer.]

- The e-Tool kit will also give a flavor for our thinking, at least as far as some practical uses of the Web as an information resource are concerned.
- The Bilbao2001 ITS Convergence and TransBilbao.net project sites may interest you as an example of how we created two "trigger projects" in collaborative work with a group of partners and clients in order to use technology and a new cooperative environment to bring information, expertise, and resources to bear on a specific high priority regional problem (restructuring of the regional transportation system so as to take full advantage of new technology).

There are other examples of past and on-going work that demonstrate elements of this approach, however most of what we might have to say or propose usefully to you in this respect, however, does not really lend itself to a canned presentation such as this.
