Latest collaborative project of the New Mobility Agenda:

World City Bike Implementation Strategies: 2008

The concept of public bicycles is getting a great deal of attention in the media, and cities around the world are looking into the potential of this powerful transformative new mobility tool. This collaborative international project is aimed to advise considering cities, public authorities and agencies as to how best to go about scouting, planning and implementing a city bike system of their own.

But careful please: This is not "just one more nice bike project". Not at all! We are talking here about (a) a significant public transport project; (b) a roads and infrastructure (and parking) project; (c) a public health project; (e) a climate project; and (f) a city center economic development project. This is the real scale and the range of your project. A New Mobility initiative -- and that all that goes with it. What a splendid challenge for your city.                                                                                                                More > > >
