Go to Global South Mobility

Objective:
The basic idea here is to see how we might cobble together and then maintain and extend a useful, we call it, "relay point" wcapable of serving as a handy point of departure for anyone wishing to dig into this topic from a broad international perspective. The core of the program is not content which is to be produced here, but rather a convenient gateway to the best of what is going on in the various programs and sites around the world to which we are linking here, so that you can get to them handily with a single click

Status - 8 August 2006:
This is posted here as a trial site at this point and has been rather hastily patched together in an attempt to test if sommething along these lines might turn out to be useful at a time when there is a real information deficit when it comes to taking wise decisions in the transport sector in the developing countries. For the time being it is not being publicly announced and is rather being shared with a select group of colleagues with strong backgrounds and quite a range of experience and points of views on these topics, from many places, North and South, but with particular expertise in matters related to transport in the developing counties.
