This is an interactive, multi-directional Web portal and communications toolkit which is being tailored in order to serve the purposes of our open group project. One goal here is to put the tools of the Information Society to work to help us all in this distributed, international group work project. In a way which is not only efficient and reasonably user-friendly, but also fully sustainable.

The several levels of email tools you will find here on the menu have of course different destinations and different purposes. We would kindly ask you, however, before using the Group Mail services the first time, either to the general BND site or to the Dialogue, to have a quick look at the Message Procedures and Etiquette word of welcome. Your busy colleagues will appreciate your taking the time to familiarize yourself with these basic routines.

The kinds and range of contact possibilities for this kind of cooperative distance work is rapidly expanding and improving -- and one of our secondary objectives is to make a contribution toward sharing not only this information, but also to spur the use of these Group Work Tools with the growing numbers of people and groups around the world who share our concerns about sustainability and social justice.
