| LVT in Action: Where, how & why it works

The goal of this collaborative international peer project is to advance the Land/Value Capture agenda in concrete ways and in the very short term, by doing what we can to support and help realize actual deployments of well thought out, effective LVT projects and programs at the level of the responsible taxing unit. It is not our purpose here to talk about LVT, land reform or value capture, about their theory, history and place in the economic and political literature, honorable activities for which other more appropriate fora are available over the net to do that important job. 15 January 2005, The Commons, Paris, France Dear Colleagues, Is there a program, is there a web site or source out there to which someone - say journalists, politicians, students, citizens, change agents, others who feel that we can do better that we are at present with out tax systems ---can easily go and once there be helped in a balanced and authoritative way with the following:
If we can get together to do that, we have something to offer to the world. Of course it's always nice to chat and learn from each other, catch up on past references, say hi, etc., but it's an awfully short life and it seems to me that implementing change is the name of the game. Eric Britton
