Here is a quick five step survival strategy for participation whichwe recommend for the very busy. In this way, you no longer have to receive and sort your way through the flow of email communications which, we understand well, are really only relevant to those who are directly involved in projects in the sector. (And, short as it is, we still advise that you print it out so that those are nice easy steps, not mental chess.)
- REGISTER: If you have not already done it, sign in as per the simple, quick routines set out under Join Us link which is right up top on the menu bar to your left. If you already have done this, then just go to Step 2...
- MODIFY SUBSCRIPTION: First click the Forum Link on the Menu to your left, and once there click the "Modify Subscription" button. There you then set "Delivery Mode' to: "Read it on the Web only", and then click the "Apply Changes" button. (And while you're at it, make sure too that you are set to HTML for your receive mode: which means you will be able to hot link directly from any @Forum email that you do decide eventually to access.)

Once you have done this, you will no longer receive the emails, but you will still be able to check in when and if you wish, and communicate with the others and generally use the various layers and facilities of the @Forum. And if you have a minute now, you may wish to make the following several small adjustments which may also serve you in good stead.

- SET DEFAULT SETTINGS:: Next go to "My Space" (up top, dark red), and once there click "User Info". From there scroll down to "Default Settings [Edit]", which you then click. There you can then set (a) "Reminders" to "Yes" if you chose to receive a weekly email reminder (otherwise, of course, "No"). And while you're there you can also (b) ensure that your profile is visible to the others. You may also find it hand (c) to set "Table Size" to show 100 rows per page (which is handy for fast viewing).
- LET US KNOW OF YOUR DECISION: Next please click this link which will automatically send a notice to "FastTrackReportOnly@ecoplan.org" to inform our team that you wish to receive the weekly progress report as your only regular email output from the group.
- THEN CONSULT FORUM AS YOU WISH: We would like to think that you will nonetheless chose to drop into the Forum from time to time to follow developments here. If you are interested in childs-play or in practical ways to move toward sustainable transportation, it should be worth the trip.
