Mr. Bach is with the Department of Environment (UK) in London where his current responsibilities involve development and administration of land-use planning policies for urban development. He commissioned and managed the research on Reducing Transport Emissions through Planning, published in 1993. Mr. Bach has authored a number of papers, including OECD Project: Urban Travel and Sustainable Development, Sustainable Transport: Contribution to Sustainable Development: Role of Land-Use Planning, and Town Centres and Retail Development: Evolving Government Policy.
