Mr. Lawrence is Vice President and Senior Economist with Jack Faucett Associates in Bethesda, Maryland. Mr. Lawrence has contributed to the intersection of energy, environmental and transportation policy since 1975. He has analyzed the impacts of alternative CAFÉ standards for automobiles, and studied innovative emissions control strategies for automobiles in the 1980s. A leading contributor to alternative fuels policy, Mr. Lawrence has recently evaluated the air quality benefits of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), the structure of voluntary energy conservation programs and the use of energy and transportation studies.
