Peter Spurr

Peter Tremaine Spurr is a senior officer in the International Relations Division of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, specializing in the housing and urban affairs work of OECD, and the development of export opportunities for Canada’s Housing industry. His book, Land and Urban Development, was a non-fiction best-seller in 1976 which influenced policy planning surrounding land development. His career includes work in public management as well as in the private sector as a research consultant, lecturer and partner in several small businesses. Mr. Spurr’s research experience has covered all aspects of urban land policy, urban affairs and the history of housing policy.
