Tom Hart

Panelist, Session 3a

Mr. Hart is Chairman of the Scottish Transport Studies Group and has acted as advisor to various UK organizations including the House of Commons Select Committee on Scottish affairs, Scottish Enterprise, the National Audit Office and the Secretary of State for Scotland’s Advisory Committee on Sustainable Development. His publications include: Greening Transport: Providing Acceptable Alternatives to Past Trends, (with F. Wayne, Scottish Transport Studies Groups, Occasional Paper 2, October 1990), and Transport, the Urban Pattern and Regional Change, 1960-2010, (Urban Studies, Vol. 29, 1992). He is also a member of Esturiales Group, which examines economic and environmental issues affecting European Estuaries.
