Final Outcome: Comparison

Despite the fact that this quick poll was placed on the site barely 24 hours before the vote, it nonetheless makes some interesting points. If you check the final tabulations here, you will note that our small international sample appears to have had a pretty good feel for the eventual outcome.

On the first question, 10 out of the 11 indicated that they thought the measure was gong to be passed, and while one of the lot (Britton actually) anticipated an overwhelming vote of approval (i.e., more than 80% of those voting), all of the others were quite close to the mark. As to the second question, six out of the ten foresaw a very close vote, half of whom saw it passing, the remainder just losing.
