World City Bike Implementation Strategies - 2008 program

    Conditions of subscription
Because of the nature of their wide spread operations and general economics, we have taken the decision that single copies of this latest report of the New Mobility Agenda will not be available to the major suppliers, projects of larger consulting or financial groups, but only to individual subscribers, small teams and public interest groups for their limited and strictly internal use (and who agree to sign our non-disclosure, limited-use agreement). The following group purchase rates and conditions apply.

    Group Subscription Rates:
The group rate covers five copies of the report, at the following rates depending on the date that the order is placed:

    • For orders received before 15 Feb. 2008: €4,750 (or US$ 6,250.00)
    • From 16 February 2008 on: €7,250 (or US$ 9,750.00)

Upon receiving subscription payment we will immediately dispatch five copies of the latest version of the report to the indicated Executive Contact. Additional signed copies are available for €50.00.

    Report updates:
The report will be regularly updated and amended over 2008, as new information comes in and as our work with a number of cities to help them bring on their own city bike projects proceeds. (We are already learning a lot as advisors in several city projects and this information will be regularly factored into the updates.) To facilitate easy access, the new materials and changes will be presented in a clear and concise fashion.

Hot line and supporting consultancy services:
The group subscription covers up to ten hours of hot line consulting and dialogue as required, with further hours to be billed upon written agreement at our favored collaborator rates which apply for actual project planning, implementation and support.

Debriefs and exception news: One-on-one and private subscriber notifications of advance information on projects, cities, players, ideas

    Accelerated Learning Sessions:
Subscribers will receive Invitations to participate in at least two planned expert workshops over 2008 (one in Europe, one in North America), bringing together leading experts and supplier groups with representatives of city government, local leaders, and other concerned groups who are in a position to make these policies and measures happen in their cities and/or to support them so that they happen in a way that will benefit the entire community.

Confidentiality agreement: (To be signed by Executive Contact in all cases)
At the time of placing their order, the subscriber undertakes to ensure in writing and in good faith that the Briefs will be strictly reserved for the internal uses of their firms, city team or agency and will not be photocopied or made available in any form to persons not in the direct employ of their institution. We understand that they may make and distribute copies as needed for their internal working purposes.

Your city clients, marketing contacts: We will be pleased to make available copies of the latest edition of the report to your clients and marketing contacts at a fifty percent reduction on the unit costs. If you wish, the reports thus ordered can be marked to show that they have been supplied in your behalf.

    Level playing field:
It is not the purpose of this project or our organization to favor the work or capacities of any one supplier. Our clients, our intended beneficiaries, are the cities and the public agencies who need to be informed in this concise independent form about how city bikes work and how they can be best brought into service in their city. On the other hand we are pleased to be on good collegial terms with all the contending suppliers who are in our view vital to the future of this terrific new mobility sector.

    Acknowledgments:
This report is funded entirely through subscriptions. We are proud to be able to cite the names of the cities and organizations who have come in both to use and to support this continuing program. We will be pleased to site the name of all subscribers in the Acknowledgments section, if they are to be thus identified.
