  •   Introduction

If you're new to the conference, this is the place to start. We suggest that you take the time to visit and understand the main conference facilities before setting out to explore and participate in the substantive sessions and tracks. We have tried to make it easy as well as interesting.

Basically there are two options open to you at this orientation stage. The first (The only one that is availble for now) is to work your way right down the toolbar to your left, top to bottom, item by item. They have been set up so that the argument should flow quite nicely with the result that a few minutes on each should do quite nicely to give you a solid base for enjoyin gthe conference. If for any reason as you join the meeting you need help or background on any of these points, you can access them directly by clicking the appropriate links indicated on the tool bar immediately to your left here

Alternatively, you will shortly be able to click the small icon below to begin the orientation tour on line. If for some reason you tire of that, you can hit the print icon which will give you the full contents of the tour for handy reference which you can then consult at leisure.

Visitors to these pages may have reason to visit any or all of the four sites that have been hotlinked at the bottom of the navigation bar to your left. The first of these of course is the pilot conference that contains a great deal of information that will be useful to the participants. The following 'contents' will lead you to short summaries of each of these which have been prepared by way of rapid first introduction. As with the conference tracks and all other content of the navigation bar to your right, direct links to each are available at all points in the conference.
