    WebBoard Listing

For the latest list of registered participants please click here:

Kindly note that this information is intended for the use of the meeting only and is not to be used or abused for commercial or any other purposes. We count on your rigorous respect of these conditions.

On this page you will find in the first instance a simple listing of name, city, and country, of those who have registered thus far, with the one slight anomaly -- and that is that we have encouraged them to enter here, in the place which is currently marked "State" in the WebBoard, an abbreviation of their institutional affiliation, if any. (We will try to fix the WebBoard entry in due course, but it is not quite as simple as it may appear.) To know more on any of them, you simply click their name and you will see their full entry, which in many cases will be much more complete.

As participants enter, we ask them to take a moment to go back on time to the WebBoard, click the small "Profiles" icon up top, and enter a bit more information on themselves and their group, so that the others will be able to identify better what kinds of materials, information and comments they might usefully be able to channel their way.

You'll note there is a Conference Track on the bar to your left in the WebBoard entitled "Opening Statements". Since that's something that most participants are likely to read from time to time - and that all will be encouraged to use - would you mind just cutting and pasting the short introductory statement you have lodged in the Profiles, here as well?

    Sample entry/example

To guide you in this respect we have prepared a sample entry, as follows:

My name is Robert Ayres. I am professor of Environmental Management and Director of the Centre for the Management of the Environment and Resources at INSEAD, the European Business School in Fontainebleau, France. Our mail address: is 77305 Fontainebleau Cedex France. Insead's main telephone number is + 331.6072.4000. The home page for Insead is http://www.insead.fr. that for our Centre is http://www.insead.fr/Research/CMER/index.htm

I shall be serving as Moderator of the conference track, Towards Zero Emissions, and have taken an active role in finding support for this program over the last year. I am hopeful that this conference and the program behind it will make a much-needed contribution to the research, scientific and policy communities on these important environmental and technology issues. You will find a detailed statement of my position on this in the Null Hypothesis of our conference track, along with my call for more candidates for case studies of what I think of as '3rd generation' Z/E technologies. Further background on my work is available at http://www.insead.fr/Departments/Economics/Ayres/

You will note that as you enter the various URLs and email addresses during this slight extension of your sign-in that WebBoard takes over and presents them in directly accessible (clickable) form, so that the other participants will be able to go directly to your WWW pages or address comments or notes directly to you.
